On December 8th and 9th, Josh's sister Caitlin and Mark got married. Josiah was the ring bearer and Edyn was the flower girl. The plan was for Josiah to push Edyn in the sleigh down the aisle. And the plan was acheived to the fullest. Josiah was perfect and even leaned over to give Edyn a kiss at the end. It was priceless. Our Newest Family Member Has Arrived

Edyn Serentiy Schumacher was born Oct 5/06 at 10:40 am, she was 7lbs 1 oz. So far, now 3 weeks old, she is a very content baby who falls asleep on her own and cries only when she is hungry but she is still very much a new born. Here are some pictures of Edyn in the hospital.

Josiah's Holiday at Turtle Lake

We got to spend a few days at the Schumacher's Cabin. Josiah got to experience his first boat ride and his first ice cream. Both he seemed to enjoy. He also experienced his first tumble down the stairs. He learned quickly not to do it on his own!

Josiah's 1st Birthday

We had a backyard BBQ/pool Party for Josiah's birthday. It happened to be one of the hottest days of the summer yet. Not so fun when you are 6 months pregnant! Aside from the heat the party was a success. Josh just finished building our patio the day before. It was great to finally have our backyard completed.

Auntie Dre bought Eden a swim suit for next summer. We thought we should try it on Josiah for future blackmail use.

After about 2 months of learning to crawl, on June 10th at Becky's wedding, Josiah took his first steps on his own! Now he refuses to crawl and instead hobbles around the house, falling every now and then. We've had a few big falls but nothing to dramatic to stop him from mastering his newly acquired talent. It's perfect timing, being 6 months pregnant is beginning to make lifting my child a little more difficult.
